One of the most common trends last year in fashion was Co-Ord Sets (matching pieces). With the benefits associated with it, certainly, they aren’t going away anytime soon.
Realizing that putting on “matching pieces” doesn’t have to be restrictive came to my notice recently. I love the fact that you can still explore either together or separately. You get to have two (2) different items of clothing sharing the same colour and fabric at that. As such, the Co-Ordinates could effortlessly be used with other pieces without any hassle.
It is safe to say that the hype surrounding Co-Ord Sets is very justified and satisfying.
I came across this gorgeous Co-ord Sets on Instagram and the great part is that it’s beautifully made in Nigeria. I absolutely love supporting great designers from my country (Nigeria). They work so hard but sadly get little recognition. Thank God, this reality is gradually changing; in which could be even better if we all can be supportive of one another’s hassle.
Not only am I in love with the whole details going on the sleeve, the colour is quite vibrant as well. Plus, it reminds me of both winter, spring, and summer. Also, I love the velvet black stripe at the sides of the pant trouser. It just really compliments the whole look.
Further to that, you could wear this outfit to the office, seminar, birthday get-together, date night, and more. The point I am trying to make is that; it solely depends on how you accessorize your co-ord sets to get the right transformation for a different outing.
Most matching pieces tend to be quite loud (in my opinion) and speaking of loud; I had to tone mine down by going neutral with accessories. All in all, I absolutely love this whole look and definitely, you will be seeing more of Co-Ordinates on the blog.
